Alex is a filmmaker, lifestyle blogger at TheFrugalistaLife.com; freelance food writer, and photographer at Creative Loafing.
Her latest documentary, “A Soulful Taste: Exploring Tampa Bay’s Black-Owned Food Scene” debuted last year and has amassed a huge viewing on YouTube.
She’s been featured in other publications like Thrillist and podcasts like The Zest.

Alex earned her Master’s degree from the University of South Florida in Digital Journalism with a Food Writing and Photography Certificate.
