I’m so excited to share that Tampa native, fellow USF alumna, and multi-talented artist Lakeema Matthew will is part of The Art of Women: A Celebration of Diversity on October 5th.

Lakeema’s Bio

Meet Lakeema Matthew. She’s a gifted Tampa-based artist and Tampa native with a Caribbean background and many talents that include: Entrepreneur, Muralist, Teacher, Graphic Designer, Musician, and more.

She began her art career as a participant at Community Stepping Stones in Sulphur Springs, a Tampa neighborhood along the banks of the Hillsborough River.

Her art is based on personal, Biblical, and black culture-related topics.

Lakeema received her Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art from the University of South Florida, studied Studio Art at Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris, and received an Associate of Arts degree in Graphic Design from Hillsborough Community College.
