Has someone gotten your goat or eaten your lunch?
I bet most everyone knows the feeling of being harshly criticized, betrayed or mistreated by another.
I definitely know that feeling.
It’s those moments when I’ve let the actions of others cause me to doubt my vision, feel badly about myself or hurt my momentum.
Have you ever felt this way?
In my Coaching program, I teach the importance of surrounding yourself with people who support your vision and dreams, under Step #3 – Establish a Fierce Belief.
These are the people who feed your soul, rather than trample on your heart.
So, if someone keeps “getting your goat,” be mindful of how they impact you and consider avoiding them in the future. I’m not talking about loving friends who give you helpful feedback or help you avoid pitfalls.
Being more aware of those who “get your goat” can help you Claim Your Power on an ongoing basis.
Tip: Seek out those who don’t steal your goat —and take them to lunch.
