African Themed Performance Art at The Art of Women on October 5, 2018

October 8, 2018 By Renee Warmack

Powerful Performance at The Art of Women – Please Share This!

In case you missed it, check out the magic and women empowerment, behind this diverse collaboration called Eko Jo.

It is an African phrase that means “I salute your dance.”

It was created for and premiered at my production called The Art of Women: A Celebration of Diversity Friday night, Oct. 5th. (Go here to sign up to get updates on more events produced by Renee Warmack Productions, LLC)

Lakeema Matthew and Monique Wilburn are gifted artists. They mesmerized the audience and claimed their power!

This act needs to go on the road to festivals, conferences, Busch Gardens, Epcot… and beyond.

Lakeema painted the mural and leotard and played the cajon.

Monique was camouflaged within the mural at first, then emerged to the African-based music and danced a powerful, expressive dance… then, returned within the mural and struck a pose.

Please watch and share this!!!!
